Have you ever wondered about antioxidants? What are they? What do they do? Do you need more of them? Can you get too much of them?
Have you ever done an online search on nutritional supplements or vitamins and have landed on an encyclopedia-type website that reminds you of the hours you spent cramming just before a big test?
Well...I have!
Before 2004 I knew almost nothing about vitamins and minerals. I did take a multivitamin once a day in my younger
years, but I honestly could not tell that they made a difference in how I felt.
Then in 2004, everything changed.
A good friend who sold nutritional supplements recommended that my wife try her product as she was having some health issues. She tried them, and they made a big difference for her. Although I didn't have any specific health problems, I wondered if I would have the same kind of results if I were taking the supplements too.
I have taken them faithfully everyday since 2004 and am amazed at how much better I feel.
I then began to wonder what it was about vitamins that made me feel so much better. But as I researched online, most of the sites that I found were very complex and used big words. But I stuck with it, and now I know so much more than I did.
Through this site I want to take the mystery out of vitamins. As I research the highly-technical websites and scientific reports, I will translate the technical jargon into words that an ordinary person like me can understand.
